Danneel Harris Talks Demon Hunting and Jensen

“No, are you kidding? The fans would kill me. I’m so hated there.” — Team Awful fave and soon-to-be network TV funny gal Danneel Harris when we asked her—now that she’s hitched to Supernatural hunk Jensen Ackles—if she’d consider making a cameo on the ghost-huntin’ series.

Yikes! ‘Tho, true. See, we told you the babe was smart. She knows exactly where she’s wanted and where she so is not. Shame, we’d love to see her go all badass on some demons (and, ok we admit, we’d love to see the Supernatural fan girls get all riled up too). We spotted the brunette babe trying to sneak past the red carpet at last week’s Machete premiere, but she happily stopped to chat with us about her new show and, of course, her new husband:

First, let’s get to the wedding biz, cause we know you’re dying to find out if the couple is feeling the newlywed heat:

2010 EWwy Awards: Best Actor in a Drama

Fans spoke (loudly) about funny women, men, and the TV series Emmy overlooked. See the eight actors and two series in drama and comedy ignored by the Emmys – but honored by you!

Best Actor in a Drama – Jensen Ackles, “Supernatural”
For the second time in the EWwys’ three-year history, Jensen Ackles took home the title of Best Actor in a Drama, proving that EW.com readers are more open-minded about sci-fi (and The CW) than Emmy voters. Ackles drew 32.7 percent of the vote, enough to beat out last year’s champ, Lost’s Josh Holloway, who had 23.7 percent. The order of finish was completed by Thomas Gibson (Criminal Minds), Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), and Timothy Olyphant (Justified).

Ask Ausiello “Supernatural” Spoilers

Ask Ausiello posted some “Supernatural” spoilers fans can look forward to coming up this season.

Question: What did CW prez Dawn Ostroff mean when she said at press tour that Dean will be like Sam and Sam will be like Dean on Supernatural this season? —Isaiah
Ausiello:
Let’s ask exec producer Sera Gamble. “When we start the season we very consciously riff a little bit on season 1 in that Dean is out of the business and Sam comes for him,” she explains. “When we started the series, Sam had attachments. He had a girlfriend he was really serious about, and he had retired from hunting essentially. Dean was this very intense hunter who came for his brother. On the surface anyway, the situation is reversed at the beginning of the season.”

Sam and Dean Role Reversal?

The executive producer of Supernatural has claimed that Sam and Dean have swapped roles in the new season. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Sera Gamble explained that Dean (Jensen Ackles) will now be more reluctant than Sam (Jared Padalecki) to go hunting because of his family.

“When we start the season we very consciously riffed a little bit on season one in that Dean is out of the business and Sam comes for him,” Gamble said. “When we started the series, Sam had attachments. He had a girlfriend he was really serious about, and he had retired from hunting essentially. Dean was this very intense hunter who came for his brother. On the surface anyway, the situation is reversed at the beginning of the season.”

Gamble has previously claimed that the season premiere of Supernatural will focus on Dean. (Source)

“Supernatural” Fans Make Their Season 6 Wishes Known

Zap2it asked “Supernatural” fans to share their hopes and predictions for the upcoming Season 6, which premieres Friday, September 24 on The CW. As always, you guys were very vocal – both about what you do want to see and what you don’t want to see. Zap2it picked out some of the most interesting (and/or hilarious) responses below. Keep them coming! Like you, we’re looking forward to finding out what happens when Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) are reunited after a year of separation. Sam let Dean think he was dead while Dean played domestic daddy.

After Dean gets over his relief that Sam is not, in fact, cooking in hell, do you think he’s going to be angry? We would be. Read more… »

“Supernatural:” Welcome to Adulthood Dean

As excited as we are about the Season 6 premiere of “Supernatural,” we can’t help but feel a bit stressed as news trickles in. After all, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) never fare well when they’re separated — and when the series returns to The CW on September 24, the brothers Winchester will have been split up for an entire year.

To add to our separation anxiety, the most iconic part of the show is going to be M.I.A: the car. In an interview with AOL TV, Executive Producer Sera Gamble confessed that Dean’s beloved Impala has been relegated to collecting dust.

“He’s not driving the Impala,” she says. “It’s under a tarp, and when he needs something from the trunk, he just lifts up the edge. It’s torturous!”
