This hasn’t been confirmed yet, but sources are saying Jensen is attached to star alongside Danny Trejo, Brad Dourif and Ariel Gade in the lastest “Chucky” film, “Child’s Play.” “Child’s Play” is a horror-thriller scheduled for a July 2011 release.

Synopsis: When serial killer Charles Lee Ray gets gunned down by the police, he transfers his soul into a doll just before he dies. Days later, Andy Barclay gets the same doll for his birthday. In order for Charles (Chucky) to transfer his soul out of the doll, he must preform a voodoo chant on the first person he told his true identity to.

“Batman: Under The Red Hood” hits shelves July 27 on DVD and Blu-Ray, but if you’re the impatient sort, you can check out the big-screen premiere of DC’s next animated feature film this Friday at Comic-Con in San Diego.

That Jensen is rumored to be in the next Resident Evil movie?

Exactly one week ago we learned the Resident Evil film franchise would see its fourth chapter become a reality with the release of Resident Evil: Afterlife on September 17, 2010.Other than the return of Milla Jovovich information about the film is, and remains, relatively sketchy. Paul W.S. has penned the script but there is no definitive word yet on whether he’ll step behind the camera.

The latest news via Production Weekly sets a start date for Resident Evil: Afterlife principal photography for September 28 at Cinespace Film Studios in Toronto. The shoot will last 8 weeks and wrap towards the end of November, leaving 10 full months to work on post production.

Rumored roles in Resident Evil: Afterlife include Jensen Ackles as Leon S Kennedy, Jason O’Mara as Albert Wesker, Austin Peck as Kevin Ryman, and Johnny Messner as Chris Redfield.

During his panel at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors, director Patrick Lussier revealed that there will be no sequel developed for ‘My Bloody Valentine 3-D’.

Despite its surprising box office success upon its release, “My Bloody Valentine 3-D” won’t be getting a sequel treatment. Breaking the news, as reported by Shock Till You Drop, was the horror remake’s director, Patrick Lussier, himself during his panel at the Fangoria Weekend of Horrors in Los Angeles.

On the occasion, the filmmaker who serves as visual consultant on Jessica Alba-starring “The Eye” reportedly claimed that Lionsgate “has no intention of developing a sequel at all”. It is further noted that the studio prefer to leave the remake film, which has scored big in its opening week with $21.2 million, as a one-shot deal.

Actually, Jensen was rumored to be the best choice for Captain American but according to this site “…Ackles is the type of actor who would be better suited for Barton’s attitude.”

The movie is in pre-production and already got a release date for 2010.
