| ‘Supernatural’ Video: Grumpy Old Dean |
After this week’s painful lack of a new Supernatural, things are looking better with next week’s new episode, which will be the first of four straight new episodes of Supernatural. In “The Curious Case of Dean Winchester,” Dean takes after Brad Pitt’s movie character and becomes a young man trapped in an old man’s body. As you might expect, comedy ensues. Supernatural is once again going after the comedy, and it seems like there’s more comedy in season 5 than ever before. Every episode features at least some hilarious part, and with Dean as an old man, the jokes are endless. For example, this video clip from the episode is just over a minute long, but it features three old jokes at Dean’s expense. I suspect there’s plenty more where that came from. For example, I can almost guarantee there will be a joke about a little blue pill. |

| Sneak Peeks at the Supernatural Season 4 Finale |
It seems like it was just yesterday that Supernatural season four was gearing up to premiere with the opening episode Lazarus Rising in which we would see Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) being pulled out of hell and restored to life and body by the angel Castiel (Misha Collins who is set to become a regular in season five) and see Dean being reunited with his brother Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) whom we would find out was headed down a dark path with the demon Ruby (now played by Genevive Cortese). Now here we are coming up on the season four finale, Lucifer Rising and the two brothers who were grateful to be brought back together are now being torn apart by their own personal issues and by the angels and demons each as chosen to side with in a race to stop the apocalypse. Lucifer Rising guest stars Jim Beaver as Bobby, Genevieve Cortese as Ruby, Misha Collins as Castiel, Katherine Boecher as Lilith, Kurt Fuller as ‘Zachariah’ and Rob Benedict as ‘Chuck.’ the episode was written and directed by Eric Kripke. |

| ‘Supernatural’ Video: Sam Suffers From Demon Blood Withdrawal |
Last week on Supernatural, Dean and Bobby felt forced to act after watching Sam lose control for demon blood. They lured Sam into the cellar under the false pretense that they all had to prepare for the end of the world, then they locked the door. Like any true intervention it was tough to watch. No matter what the good reason, like any true intervention Dean had to betray the confidence of his brother, humiliate him in front of someone else, and impose his will onto another adult in a strong and serious way. That’s not to say it wasn’t absolutely the right thing to do but for a righteous cause it sure looked and felt like kidnapping. This week it gets even rougher for Sam. In a new clip from “When the Levee Breaks” released today by The CW, Sam begins to panic in his makeshift-cage when he feels something coming. He screams for help but nobody can hear him, and you can vividly sense his growing feelings of abandonment and betrayal, and the deep, fiery resentment he’s going to feel towards Dean for doing this to him. Especially when he turns around to see Alastair standing there. |
