We are talking about the right hand of God and according to the show the only Archangel who remain true to God and hasn't gone crazy. Still since the episode would be all about myths and magic Micheal could appear as a very bright star with a voice that only Dean can hear. The Bible says that Micheal is the angel closer to God and responable of guiding people.
