Looks like Jensen landed himself a new role alongside Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark / Iron Man and Don Cheadle as Col. James ‘Rhodey’ Rhodes. Sources tell us, that Jensen is going to play Captain America in the upcoming movie Avengers. Jensen’s appearances is not yet confirmed.

God, I hope he really got this role. I’m not too familiar with the Captain America character but I’m so glad he may have got such a possibly high profile part. Working with Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark and Don Cheadle as Rhody will be really cool. Can’t wait to see him in it!!!

I’m not familar with the Captian America character or the movie either. But it does indeed sound like a great chance for Jensen to prove himself as an serious actor. I mean he can’t always refer to being Dean Winchester on Supernatural… Although we love Jensen playing him.
